Mailbox security includes: login records, password settings, alternate email, and sending and receiving email services. You can find the security-related settings for Mail2000 here.
Mailbox Login Records
You can view your previous login records by logging into your mailbox account. If you notice uncommon IP login records or a large number of login failures, it indicates that your account may have been compromised or someone is attempting to intrude. In this case, you should promptly change your password to ensure the security of your mailbox.
- In the "Personal Settings" section on the left-hand side menu, expand "Mailbox Security" and click on "Login Records" to access the page for login records.
- On the login record page, you can query all login data, successful login records, and failed login records according to your needs to understand the current security level of the email account.
Password Settings
In the password setting, users can modify their passwords. When setting, the password must meet certain strength requirements, and if the personal security code feature is enabled in your Mail2000, you will also need to enter your set personal security code when making modifications.Change password?

Password Strength
In addition to the password security rules indicated on the screen, the password strength can be divided into four levels based on the settings by the administrator. Character sets include lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, and special symbols.

Forgot your password?
When logging into this email system, if the account and password are entered incorrectly, the system will immediately display a login error message and a password hint message. If after the password hint, you still cannot recall the password you set, please contact the system administrator immediately.
Personal Security Code
To enhance system security, when the administrator activates the personal security code authentication mechanism, you must enter your self-created personal security code in order to change your password or set up an automatic forwarding list.

Mail and Delivery Services
To ensure the security of your mailbox, you can disable unused "SMTP, POP3, IMAP4" services to reduce the chances of hackers exploiting these three channels to steal passwords.

Device Log
The Mail2000 device log allows you to view the devices or browsers that have recently been logged in.

The device log list is divided into:
- My frequently used devices.
- If you select "Add to my frequently used devices.You can view the devices added to the favorites list in this table without entering the OTP code again.
- Other devices
- If the device has logged in to an account but has not joined "My frequently used devices."It will be displayed in this table."

How do I add a common device?
To add a device to my trusted devices, you need to first enable and set up two-factor authentication. Once the two-factor authentication is set up, on the page where you enter the two-factor authentication code to log in, you will see "This is my trusted device." Check the box, then click login to add the device to "My Trusted Devices."
