About the MailCloud Messenger enterprise messaging platform
MailCloud Messenger is a messaging app built specifically for businesses. It lets employees keep work and personal conversations separate while improving internal collaboration and productivity. The interface resembles the consumer messaging apps people use every day, so it is easy to pick up. A built-in colleague directory is included — once installed, the full list of co-workers appears automatically, so there is no need to add internal members as contacts one by one.
On mobile, MailCloud Messenger is available via a web interface on the desktop and as native apps on Android and iOS, letting employees stay in touch wherever they are.

How to search instant messages
Click [Messages] in the toolbar (marked A in the figure below) to open the instant-message archive search page. Expand the search box (marked B) to filter by:
- Message keywords
- Message type: Text, Link, or File
- User (the sender) — all users or a specific person
- Date range
Area C in the figure shows the most recently archived messages for quick browsing.
Search results
Enter your keywords or other criteria in the search panel and click Search to begin querying the archived instant messages.
Matches are highlighted with an orange-yellow background so the relevant messages are easy to spot.
The left side of the results page provides [Classified Results] to quickly narrow the scope.
Click any matching message to enter the chat room and see the full surrounding context.
Within the chat room you can scroll back and forth to read at your own pace; a minimap on the right also lets you jump directly to messages that match the keyword.
Exporting search results
Click Export at the top-right to choose the time range to export and whether to include the attached files. The result can be saved as XML or CSV.
