This chapter explains how to sign in to the system and briefly introduces account aliases and how to view them.
How to Sign In
- Open a browser and enter http://MailBase-IP-or-hostname to reach the sign-in page. (Example: if the MailBase IP is 192.168.0.1, enter http://192.168.0.1.)
- Choose the sign-in language, then enter your email account and password.
- The selectable languages depend on the language pack your company has purchased. If only one language is licensed, the language selector is hidden.
- If your company has purchased the Personal Mailbox module, the landing page after sign-in (today's personal Inbox or the Advanced Search page) follows the administrator's configuration.
- If your company has not purchased the Personal Mailbox module, you are taken to the Advanced Search page after signing in.
How to View Your Account Aliases
After signing in, hover your mouse over your account name at the top of the page and the system will display your sign-in account together with its alias list. You can search and review the mail of any mailbox account that appears in this list.
- Click the account ID.
- Your aliases and other account information are displayed.
If your alias list does not include all of your mailbox accounts, please contact your company's system administrator and ask them to configure it for you.
