Basic Search is the search bar fixed at the top-right corner of the page.
Basic Search supports three different search fields. Click the "▽" next to the search bar to choose which field to search; the default is Mail Body, as shown below:
The supported search fields are:

Searches the body of every mail, including the contents of attachments. |

Searches the email addresses of mail, including sender and recipient addresses in the envelope as well as the From and To addresses in the RFC 822 headers. |
The two examples below illustrate how to use Basic Search.
Example 1 — Search for the keyword "本公司" (our company) in the mail body.
- Type "本公司" in Basic Search and click the magnifying-glass icon.
- The system displays the search results.
Example 2 — Find mail whose subject contains the keyword "你好" (hello).
- Type "你好" in Basic Search, click the "▽" icon, and choose Subject.
- The search results appear as shown below:
Keyword restrictions
Basic Search does not accept the symbols & | ! ( ) and similar in its input. To search multiple fields or multiple keywords at once, please use Advanced Search.
