Usage Logs let you review the actions that administrators and users have performed in MailBase. The logs cover System Authentication, Mail Search, Mail View, Conversation View, Mail Forwarding, batch export, Group Management, and mail activity. If you are signed in as an organization administrator, you can also browse the usage logs of users in the groups you are authorized to manage. The interface is introduced below.
[Log Type] — Select one or more log types to query together.
[Date Range] — Choose the date range to search.
[Show other options] — Click to reveal additional filter criteria.
[User Account] — Look up records belonging to a specific account.
[Timezone] — Specifies the timezone used for the query; the dates shown in the results follow this timezone as well.
[Status] — Each event is classified as Normal, Warning, or Error. The three statuses are defined as follows:
- Normal: the action completed successfully as expected.
- Warning: the action finished, but an incident occurred during execution that affected the result even though the action itself completed.
- Error: the action could not be completed.
[Query Type] — When the Multi-Server module has been purchased and you are signed in to the cluster data-sync server, you can choose which server host to query.
[Export] — Exports the usage log search results to CSV.
