Report settings
Click the [Report settings] button to reveal the configuration options. Pick the report type from the dropdown menu to browse the report.
MailBase also supports a multi-server architecture. If your company has purchased the Multi-Server module, the administrator has enabled multi-server queries, and you are signed in to the cluster data-sync server, you can select which server hosts to query within the Report Settings; the system merges results across the selected servers. For details on multi-server query selection, see "3.9 Specifying the query server scope."
Report time settings
The time-settings panel offers Year, Month, Week, and Day modes, each described below:
-
Yearly report: click a year and the system immediately tallies that year's archived data. The arrow icons let you step through years.
-
Monthly report: pick the month from the dropdown and click the radio button at the top-left to view the report.
-
Weekly report: click a week; the system tallies that week's archived data and shades the chosen week in grey.
-
Daily report: for the current month, click any day on the calendar to view its chart. For other months, set the desired year and month first.
Downloading, forwarding, and printing the report
After the system generates the chart, you can download, print, or forward the report. Two export formats are available: HTML and CSV. For example, choosing "CSV" with "Download" lets you open the report immediately or save it to your computer.
Choosing "HTML" with "Print" opens the report directly so you can print it:
Choosing "Forward" lets you enter an email address (see below); the system emails the report to that address.
